If you’re anything like us, you know the feeling. The sheer joy of cracking a fresh pack. The thrill of a top-deck that snatches victory from the jaws of defeat. And, of course, that glorious, chaotic, ever-growing pile of cardboard that you swear you’ll organize… someday.

My name is Tristan, and I’m the CEO and co-founder of CardNexus. But more importantly, I’m a player. My journey to create this platform started right where many of you are now. It began with our CTO, Gaultier—a 20-year veteran of the TCG scene—reigniting my love for the game. We were diving into a new TCG (Sorcery: Contested Realm) and immediately hit a wall. Where were the tools? The seamless inventory trackers? A modern marketplace that actually got us?

We looked around and saw a world we loved, but one that was fragmented. Communities scattered across Discord servers and Facebook groups. Collections tracked in spreadsheets. Trades happening on platforms that haven’t evolved in a decade.

We knew we deserved better. You deserve better.

That’s why, along with our co-founder and CPO Julie—who brings a fresh perspective from the incredible new wave of players joining the hobby—we decided to stop waiting and start building.

CardNexus is our love letter to this community. It’s an all-in-one platform built by passionate players, collectors, and sellers, for passionate players, collectors, and sellers. Our mission is to give the TCG universe the central hub it’s been missing. A place to Trade. Collect. Connect.

Our Closed Beta is launching with a powerful suite of inventory and collection management tools for five of the games closest to our hearts :
